Desmond Hughes, Senior Partner, and Khun Kanokporn Amonsatapipat, Paralegal, have co-written an article on the common myths, misconceptions and misunderstandings many foreigners have in relation to work permits. Some myths are perpetuated by irregular enforcement, mis-matching guidance notes and slow processing times. Other myths are perpetuated by foreigners and other parties taking shortcuts on the process, or not applying for work permits at all, even when they should under law.
The article was published in Window on Phuket, an Image Asia publication, which has now published many of Hughes Krupica’s legal guidance and tips over the past 2 years.
